Brand's Smart Achievers Alumni

Hello readers, during the gaps that I had between my AS examination, I had been invited to give a talk during the Brand's Smart Achievers 2013. It's been one year since I was one of the recipients, being treated like princess for the whole day during the ceremony and having fun during the photoshoot and video session. I miss the moments a lot :') It was really awesome!

Congratulations to all the new achievers this year, including my brother :) I believe all of you have done extremely well in your previous examinations. Few of the recipients from the previous year came and gave support too. Thank you Brand's for inviting us. I believe that it would be the first time for a few of us to stand there and inspire the others. My heart pounded fast *it is obvious that i was nervous and my eyes were teary. "Life as a student is not easy. There will be thorns and twines along the road to success. Be strong and have faith to yourself..." I do not know if this was the right thing to say to the achievers but this really came from the bottom of my heart. I can feel the burden. It feels like the whole weight of the world is put on your shoulders. But Alhamdulillah, I have my family and friends around me who always remind me to be strong and pray hard"Seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer. It is indeed hard except for those who are humble." (2:45)
"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)
However, I do hope that my words would wake them up from their dreams. Chase your dreams and not just sitting there and enjoying it. Make your dreams come true. Thank you Brand's. :)
